Warwick Castle took no real part in the Wars of the Roses but it formed part of the power base for Richard Neville, Earl of Warwick, also known as "Kingmaker", also known as "Spinning Dick" for his changes of allegiance. The Woodvilles attend the castle and perform a show of living history and archery.
